Arbenting Take Two — Getting Bent Once Again!

sqlogoArbenting returns with a new incarnation of the site focusing strictly on freebies.

You didn’t think that we could stay away from you forever, did you? Not quite, just like Jay-Z, baby, we’re back. Now don’t mistake what we are saying, we are not back as we once were, but with more of a different incarnation of Arbenting. As we evolve, we realized, that the site must do the same.

So here we go. We want everyone to understand, that this in no way will effect or impact our work over at the ever inspiring, Fuel Your Creativity, quite to the contrary. In fact, Arbenting is now just an outlet for us to continue giving back to the community from us personally through new and existing Arbenting Freebies. One of our favorite aspects of the site in its original incarnation, was the freebies, so now we are returning to our roots.

The other purpose of the site is now to act as Angie’s online portfolio for our freelance work, and give her a place to showcase her skills. As a fantastic designer and developer and also as an imaginative and talented graphic artist. So welcome back, we know it has been a while, but we hope you know you were missed.

…and we aren’t waiting for you to tell us the same thing…but there is a comment section below, so we aren’t going to stop you if you wanted to say a little something. ;p

The new design is really nice Angie! I love the clean header and logo, looking forward to seeing the freebies this new incarnation comes up with! :D

I really love this new design guys! It feels a lot cleaner and more spacious. One thing bothering me is readability though. I can read your blog posts, but struggle more than other sites due to the textured background. If the texture was slightly more subtle, and perhaps the area darker (and/or the text lighter) it would make things easier.

    Anyway, great job! :)

Thanks Tom. I’ve been wondering about the readability so I really appreciate the feedback. I’ll bring the texture down a bit and darken the area a bit.
