The Month That Changed The World Forever
Well, not the ‘world’, but certainly the ‘world of design’…or really I guess that’s a matter of perspective also. From here at Arbenting, since yesterday marked the end of our first month of getting our blog going, it has changed our world for sure. One month old, and already shaping up nicely into the realization of what we had hoped it would be. Though, admittedly, our expectations were set pretty low.
All kidding aside, it has been quite an amazing month for us here. We launched ourselves forward with great momentum, that has solidly carried us through the first month and into the second with our footing gaining traction and our audience expanding. Speaking of our readers, we continue to be blown away by our traffic and the number of pingbacks and incoming links we’ve been getting. You’ve shown so much enthusiasm for what we are doing here, that it just gives us that much more incentive and drive to keep it up. So thanks, it means a lot to us.
We have learned a few lessons along the way, and made some friends in the process. What a long, strange trip it’s been, indeed! We’ve Stumbled, and Dugg, and then realized that unlike some other social media sites, you are not supposed to actually submit your own stuff to those two (apparently it’s in the terms and conditions…must have missed that part as we meticulously perused said terms before signing up). Overall, it’s been a very interesting learning experience.
And we couldn’t celebrate the anniversary without making you all a part of it in the best way we knew how…by making something just for you! That’s right, we sure do a get a kick at out of giving away freebies to the design community, so Angie set out to create another Photoshop brush pack, available for free for both commercial and non-commercial use.
