Wednesday Web of Inspiration: Creatively Colorful Websites

Okay, we know it is hard to concentrate on much these Wednesdays since Lost came back for the new season, but if we could offer a slight distraction from the fan sites you may be scouring (or fanfics you may be writing) to bring you a shot of inspiration from the world wide web. For this week’s installment of the WWI, we wanted to bring a touch of the familiar to the online community, and how much more familiar can we get than than with websites? We see them all the time, and as designers we tend to actually pay attention to them more so than a civilian would. So perk your peepers up once more for a bit of inspiration.

In this Wednesday Web of Inspiration we focus on Creatively Colorful Websites. Those sites whose imaginative inclusions of color into their site layout and design spark and pop each time the site loads in your browser. If you aren’t familiar with what we mean, simply take a gander down below and see the wonderful examples that we have collected for the showcase, and we think you will grasp the point. These sites achieve an aesthetic appeal and seamless inclusion with the color they splash into the layout that we felt deserved recognition, even though we have featured one or two of them before. Enjoy!
